Mr. Paleri Rameshan is the chairman of Uralungal Labour Contract Co-operative Society Ltd, one of the largest Labour Co-operatives in Asia. The Society is in the forefront of infrastructure development all over Kerala since 1925 and has now stepped into other areas like IT, Education and Tourism.

Mr. Rameshan chairs the board of all the subsidiaries of ULCCS namely UL Cyber Park, India’s first Special Economic Zone owned by a Labour Contract Co-operative Society, UL Technology solutions, UL Foundation. Sargaalaya Kerala Arts and Crafts Village and Kerala Arts and Crafts Village Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction Kollam are units managed by the Society.

Mr. Rameshan took over as chairman of ULCCS in 1995, at the age of 35. As chairman, Mr. Rameshan has taken the ULCCS group to a much higher ambit. His wise moves played the key role in overcoming many crisis of the Society. He has accelerated growth and enhanced meritocracy in the team. As an empathetic leader, he had a foresight for the revamping society and moved accordingly. He was the driving force behind the growth of the Society to an infrastructure giant in the state, with ample space in all the relevant sectors of the day, including IT and Education. It was under his leadership that the Society developed a unique repute in completing the projects undertaken, within the time and cost limits. By providing 10000+ job opportunities directly and indirectly, the group was able to uplift thousands of families to the main stream by giving them better employment opportunity, food, shelter and enabling them to improve their status of living. He is the master brain behind UL Cyberpark, the first IT SEZ in Malabar, a project worth 600 Cr. In the process he has raised the society’s turnover from Rs.1.6 Cr to 1610 Cr. Under his stewardship, the society now has a positive graph, with a powerful workforce.

Besides these, he introduced and implemented ISO 9001:2008 into the management system of ULCCS Ltd. He restructured the business group to grow as the No.1 infrastructure developers of the state. Under his able leadership, the society now provides quality education, decent work and economic growth in sustainable development model.

M M Surendran is one of the directors of ULCCS. He has been a worker in ULCCS since his teenage period from 1980. With forty years of hands on experience in the Infrastructure Development including roads, bridges and buildings,, he has undertaken and successfully completed projects worth more than Rs. 150 crores, he believes in adherence to time and quality standards.

Major Projects Under his directorship include - Kerala Sustainable Urban Development Project aided by Asian development Bank in Kozhikode, Sarovaram – Bio Park, (Tourism Project), N.H 17 Bye Pass and various Flyovers/Bridges. He was the Director of UL Cyberpark project. He is in charge of some of the current flagship projects of ULCCS including Allappuzha - Changanasserry Road Renovation and almost all the projects at the Capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.

He is also the Director Board member of Calicut City Infrastructure Development Pvt Ltd, Cherupara Bricks and Metals Ltd - both units of ULCCS and and UL Cyber Park a subsidiary of ULCCS.

Anupa is an accomplished Project Management professional with over fourteen years of experience with various types of construction projects include development of UL Cyberpark at Calicut and Real Estate projects such as UL Apartment project at Calicut which is ongoing.

She holds Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. Earlier career of Anupa was with the Quantity Survey team of ULCCS and she also pursued her MBA in Operations Management & Human Resources in between and this culminated in appointing her to the ULCCS Projects Management team assigning her responsible for the project management activities during the construction phase of the prestigious & iconic, UL Cyberpark project at Calicut. She is currently a Director in the Board of ULCCS Directors and it is the second consecutive term now that she serves this position as one of the Director of ULCCS.

Anupa has expansive knowledge and expertise in planning, execution, supply chain management, sub-contracts managements, cost management, employee communication and on-time delivery of construction projects of all scales. She has been instrumental in delivering this high-end infrastructure facilities for our clients who set up their offices at our UL Cyberpark complex and for the excellent facility management services that we offer to our customers and visitors at UL Cyberpark.

Apart from her significant experience and exceptional skills in ensuring, smooth operation of the projects and effective strategic planning is undertaken, she is remarkable among the leadership team for embracing changes, welcoming new ideas and always supports the moves towards a more collaborative approach.

Freddy is a hugely experienced construction materials specialist with over twenty four years’ experience in the field of construction materials testing and quality assurance & quality control of projects.

He possesses a unique combination of practical/technical experience combined with a Master’s Degree in Geology and it enables him to manage the key components of establishment, development and operation of materials testing laboratories.

Before joining ULCCS, Freddy was working with Element Materials Technology Limited in Oman, which is one of the world’s biggest materials testing laboratory group, headquartered at UK (formerly EXOVA, Bodycote etc) and his deep technical knowledge and vast experience in the field, singled him out as a the go-to contact for major consultants and contractors in Oman with materials suitability issues or requiring professional advice on specification compliance and regularly asked to provide expert opinion and consultations on a variety of critical structural and concrete investigation assignments.

Freddy has also been involved in QA/QC activities for several oil and gas projects as well as on a number of the largest infrastructure projects in the Sultanate of Oman.

Anil Kumar has over fifteen years of international experience in quality assurance and quality control working with various international contractors before joining ULCCS in 2018 and possess a total experience of 27 years in the field civil construction projects in India and abroad include high-rise buildings, ports, mixed use development, harbour, roads, bridges etc

Anil Kumar is a graduated Civil Engineer and is responsible for providing leadership and guidance in quality and compliance related matters to the Matter Lab workforce and ensures highest standard quality practices are adhered to.

Apart from being a certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE – Franklin University-US), he is also a certified Lead Auditor (IRCA-ISO 9001) and a Certified Internal Auditor (BvQi - ISO 9001) and having extremely outstanding know-how to write up QA plans, processes, inspections and test procedures. He has efficient skills in improving processes & procedures by performing audits, processing information and taking appropriate action.

Ranjit P. is an alumnus of Anna University from which he has obtained his MTech in Construction Engineering and Management. With nearly 20 years of experience in various Civil Engineering related activities, the major share has been in Techno-Marketing of Cement spanning 14 years. His primary focus was Marketing and Technical Support for OPC, PPC and Blended Cement Sales with clientele ranging from the end-user to major corporate entities.

He was also actively involved in promoting material testing, quality assurance, and compliance related awareness by using a mobile laboratory as a platform. Brand development and promotion was a key factor of his experience that helped him to generate demand and meet supply requirements. Ranjit was also instrumental in brand approval in major landmark projects under DMRC. With his experience amassed over time, he has also gained knowledge and capability by undergoing ISO/IEC 17025 for managing testing of materials in laboratories. Ranjit is also actively involved in expanding the partnership of qualified individuals, and knowledge building of budding Engineers through organizations such as The Indian Concrete Institute and GRACE.

Muraleedharan Nair has more than 38 years of national and international experience in the field of concrete technology and quality, working with various companies in their materials testing laboratories and ready mix concrete division.

Muraleedharan Nair have got proven management and planning skills for inter-department employees and customers and his practical and technical knowledge in quality control and concrete technology are exemplary.

He holds Bachelors Degree in Engineering and his exceptional experience helps him in leading the team in technical aspects and customer service.

Anwar has an MSc in chemistry and also an M Phil in Chemistry with over fifteen years of experience, including significant periods within the Middle East in leading International laboratories include Element Materials Technology, Oman (formerly Exova).

Anwar’s chemistry expertise covers the analysis of soils, waters, metals, rocks, sediments etc. and has many years of experience in WD-XRF (fused bead & pellets), ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Spark-OES, PMI, AAS, IC, and TOC for a wide range of analyses, with commercial, health and environmental values.

He has a commendable knowledge of managing Chemistry Laboratory from sample reception to results reporting. Anwar is also remarkable among the team in promoting a ‘right first time’ culture by ensuring all processes and procedures being adopted are mistake-proof.

Sreelesh has over fifteen years of experience in the field of civil Engineering related testing services. Before joining Matter Lab, Sreelesh was working with Element Materials Technology (formerly Exova) in Middle East at their Oman, Qatar, Bahrain & Dubai laboratories and has been responsible for the operational and technical delivery of project quality control programs on a wide variety of high profile civil engineering projects across Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, Bahrain & UAE.

Sreelesh has operational management responsibility for construction materials testing activities in Matter Lab and holds Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

The highlights of the previous experiences of Sreelesh in supervisory roles are developing and validating test methods, training and documenting new methods and procedures, along with implementing LIMS within the Civils Laboratory.

Athul is an ambitious quality professional who has the ability to challenge and adapt innovative approach to quality improvement.

Athul is an enthralling team player and is very communicative among the team and ensures flawlessly that the laboratory management system is understood and operated by all employees

Athul has B Tech in Civil Engineering and has over 6 years experience working with ULCCS projects, monitoring and supervising quality assurance and quality control processes and having hands on practical experience in ascertaining root causes for quality issues encounters and in the planning of mitigation measures.

Sooraj joined ULCCS as Quality Engineer in 2017 and before joining ULCCS, he worked with some local construction companies for about 3 years.

Sooraj possesses B Tech in Civil Engineering and M Tech in Structural Engineering and is well known among the Matter Lab team for his ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines. He gives advises and supports to the team on a range of quality issues whenever required.

Combining his tertiary educational qualification and experience in quality assurance and quality control, Sooraj often found to be a champion among the team when it comes to about trouble shooting for various quality related issues.

Sasidharan has got an admirable experience of about more than 29 years in both India and abroad with various companies in different capacities pertaining to office management and administration.

Sasidharan holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and prior to joining Matter Lab, held the position of ‘Office Administrator’ in various international organisations include Tarmac Alawi LLC, Materials Testing Laboratory at their Oman operation and this enables him extending timely administrative support services to all other functional departments in the Matter Lab, most efficiently.

With his impressive experience and excellent organizational and leadership skills, he is exceptional in coordinating office activities and operations securing efficiency and compliance to company quality management policies and procedures.

An MBA Finance and marketing professional, Mr. Sreesanth S S has a proven track record of 18 plus years in the Finance and accounts area. He has been associated with ULCCS since 2009. He has been in the Corporate finance team of ULCCS handling strategic and corporate finance activities. The major areas of expertise include project financing of Mega, Annuity Projects and other infrastructure projects. He has good liaison with Government authorities and other institutions. He is also involved in Corporate Budgeting, strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning, Negotiate and structure financial details, developing and managing financial systems/models etc. He is also involved in Group Skill Development Activities.
